During Jump Festa 2016, an annual anime and manga expo held in Japan, Konami announced that it would be releasing a trio of new Yu-Gi-Oh! games in 2016. Fortunately, if you’re both a 3DS and Yu-Gi-Oh! fan you’re in luck; a Yu-Gi-Oh! 3DS game is getting a release very soon.

The new game, which doesn’t have an official name yet, was confirmed for a worldwide release this summer earlier today by Konami. Konami hasn’t provided any details about the game at the moment, but fans can expect to learn more about the game’s story and gameplay as the new title’s release approaches.

YuGiOh2

Since this is 20th anniversary of the Yu-Gi-Oh! manga, Konami is making sure it takes care of its loyal fans. The most recent Yu-Gi-Oh! game released on a Nintendo console was Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL World Duel Carnival in 2014 for the 3DS. The game generally received mediocre scores and wasn’t the success Konami hoped for.

For now, we’ll have to wait and see if this new title can win us over. Fans can expect to get their hands on this new game in the summer of 2016.
