For those of you who’ve been waiting for any news about the almost mythical Etrian Odyssey V, today’s your day. After its announcement over a year ago in November of 2014, almost no other information has been released about it.

Atlus, Etrian Odyssey’s development team, finally opened up about the project in this week’s Famitsu. Its very own Shigeo Komori has stated that the game’s development is in its final stages, and that even more information will be available to us “a bit later when the cold weather has warmed.”

Technically, this could be a bit of non-Nintendo news, as the game doesn’t actually have an announced platform yet. However, assuming this game is following the rest of its series history, we’ll likely see it on a Nintendo platform before anything else.
