Jump Festa 2016 is currently well under way in Japan, with Japanese game developers revealing more about their upcoming titles over the three day long event. Capcom is no exception, with the company releasing a new screenshot from the upcoming Ace Attorney 6:
That’s right; rookie defense attorney Athena Cykes, one of the main characters from the previous game, Dual Destinies, is confirmed to be returning. Not only that but in the background of the screenshot you can see a poster featuring Trucy. Could she be hosting her own magical stage show?
Capcom also confirmed the return of “free investigation,” after the more linear structure of investigations in Dual Destinies proved divisive. This means a return to wider exploration, with a lot more of the flavor text that Ace Attorney fans know and love.
Ace Attorney 6 will be releasing in Japan sometime next year, and a western release has been confirmed.
