Hot off the heels of the Sceptile announcement for the arcade version, a new trailer has been released focusing on the Wii U version of Pokkén Tournament. Showing off the game’s gorgeous visuals and stylish attacks, it’s a real treat for the eyes. The trailer focuses mostly on Pikachu Libre, and it also takes some time to show off the Burst Attacks of most of the playable roster.

A Wii U + Pokkén Tournament bundle launching alongside the standalone game has been detailed at the end of the trailer. The package will include a 32 GB Wii U, a digital copy of the game, the Shadow Mewtwo amiibo card, and a special Battle Pokémon Action List showcasing the movesets of all the playable Pokémon. While there’s no word yet on an overseas equivalent, it’s a bundle that’ll be sure to please fans of both Pokémon and fighting games. Anyone banking on receiving money or gift cards this holiday season may want to consider saving them for this!

Coming separately from the bundle is a special wired controller modeled after the arcade version’s own look. Featuring the same feel and layout, it’ll be another option in the large pool of Wii U control options. No word about its usability outside of Pokkén Tournament has been given, but the game is also listed as being compatible with the Wii U Pro Controller and the Classic Controller Pro. The controller will release alongside the game and bundle on March 18th, 2016 in Japan.

Two more support Pokémon sets were also revealed, though no other details on their attacks or uses in the game were provided. Dragonite and Victini come as a pair alongside Rotom and, one of my personal favorites, Togekiss. Hopefully we’ll see them in action by the next trailer!

When he isn’t writing for Nintendo Wire, Ricky’s anticipating the next Kirby, Fire Emblem, or if the stars ever align, Mother 3 to be released. Till then he’ll have the warm comfort of Super Smash Bros. to keep him going.
