The critically acclaimed Wii game, Super Mario Galaxy, has been rated for the Wii U by the ESRB.

The ESRB listing was leaked by Nintendo Life and may suggest that Super Mario Galaxy might be making its debut on the Wii U’s virtual console sometime soon. While fans worldwide have been playing Super Mario Galaxy 2 for some time now, Japan is currently the only region where you can play the original.

It’s important to note that this will not be an HD remake of the game, but simply just a re-release of the title on the Wii U’s Virtual Console. Nintendo has yet to acknowledge the leak.
