It’s only been a little over a year since amiibo have been released and they’re already making a tremendous wave in the game industry. According to the NPD Sales Results for November 2015, reported on by Venture Beat, amiibo have reached a new milestone in the US. Over 11 million amiibo have been sold to date in the U.S. That’s enough for every one in 28 Americans to have one of their very own. (Even though we all know that serious collectors have dozens!)
With that in mind, just imagine what the next few years will bring. Congrats Nintendo!
