One of the biggest announcements made in last month’s Nintendo Direct was the reveal of the latest Hyrule Warriors newcomer; Linkle. With the 3DS version rapidly approaching its January release in Japan, Koei Tecmo have finally released a new trailer focusing entirely on her abilities.
As you can see, Linkle blasts away enemies by dual wielding crossbows, giving her a bit of a strange Lara Croft vibe. Not only that but the way her crossbows glow is a minor reference to the oft-forgotten Link’s Crossbow Training, where the glowing indicated the next shot’s properties (red for bombs, green for rapid fire.)
You’ll be able to take to battle as Linkle on March 25th, in both North America and Europe.
