In recent years Nintendo has shown that they are all in on indie games, with titles like Shovel Knight, Gunman Clive 2, OlliOlli and Shantae being some of the best indie games the eShop has to offer, with positive reviews and promising sales figures. Continuing with the trend, developer Brainseed Factory and publisher Headup Games have brought their newest game, Typoman, to the Wii U as an exclusive.

The game is a 2D puzzle platformer that takes place in a creepy, but beautiful, world. The protagonist, HERO, might be small in stature but has a unique and powerful gift; the ability to use letters to change the surrounding environment. Players must help navigate HERO through dark and eerie environments while fighting monsters on a quest to take down the evil demon who rules the world and has HERO held as a prisoner.

The Wii U exclusive is now available for purchase on the Nintendo eShop for $13.99.
