UPDATE (11/17):
It looks like Minecraft for Wii U might have been a false alarm. After last week’s no-showing at the latest Nintendo Direct many were wondering about its absence, and we might finally have our answer with PEGI removing the game from their database earlier today. Was it always a technical error, or did someone accidentally leak it a little too early? It’s hard to say right now, but we’ll keep you posted if we hear anything.

European game rating firm PEGI has inadvertently announced that Minecraft is coming to the Wii U later this month. In a listing first discovered by HypnoDarkrai on NeoGaf, Minecraft is shown on the PEGI webpage with a PEGI 7 rating and a release date of December 11th.

With tomorrow’s Nintendo Direct, it’s safe to say that this title will more than likely be announced for release.

Make sure to stay tuned to Nintendo Inquirer for all the details of tomorrow’s event.
