Star Fox Zero was delayed until April 22nd, but a new video uploaded to the official Japanese Nintendo YouTube page shows off the progress Nintendo has been making.

While fans were excited about the official announcement of Star Fox Zero at E3 last summer, many fans were disappointed with its graphics. In an effort to make their fans happy, Nintendo decided that delaying the game was necessary to further polish it.

Graphically, the game looks much improved from its previous videos. Environments appear to look much more detailed, and gameplay seems smoother. The new footage also shows off some the game’s new and old vehicles. Fan favorites such as the Arwing and Landmaster have returned, but a newcomer named the Gyrowing makes an appearance as well. While we saw footage of the Gyrowing on Thursday, this new video gives us an additional glimpse of its gameplay.
