Just this morning, Nintendo of America announced via Twitter that the highly anticipated Nintendo Direct is finally happening. Check out the details here:

Speculations have been made by the community about a new Direct for months. The very last digital event to take place was all the way back in June at E3, before the passing of the late Nintendo President Satoru Iwata, so anticipation is high for this upcoming presentation. With the holidays and the New Year fast approaching, it’s likely that we’ll be getting a solid amount of information regarding holiday plans and, quite possibly, some hints at 2016’s game roster.
