If you weren’t able to make it to Los Angeles to watch the Nintendo World Championships in person back in June, you’re in luck! Nintendo recently announced that the the Disney XD channel will air the NWCs tomorrow, September 16th, at 8:00 p.m. PST.
After a 25 year hiatus, the Championships returned with a bang for Nintendo fans. Announced only a few weeks before the NWCs took place, people from all over the world hurried to make plans to attend the highly anticipated (and very missed) competition. And, as it turns out, the wait was completely worth it! Attendees, including those on the Nintendo Inquirer staff, returned from the NWCs with exciting stories about the thrill of watching gamers compete on stage against one another. There’s nothing quite like hearing the roar of fellow Nintendo fans cheering on passionate gamers who are putting their whole hearts into trying to win the Nintendo World Championships cup!
Don’t miss out on this opportunity to watch this event’s comeback. Hopefully, with its great success, this means that we’ll be seeing many more competitions in the future.
