Disturbing atmospheric horror isn’t something you see too often in the Nintendo eShop, but Swedish developer Simigo plans on filling that gap with a Wii U port of its critically acclaimed mobile game, Year Walk. As the creepy Nindies@Night trailer below shows, it’ll be quite the experience.

Year Walk is a game about exploration and puzzle solving, with a striking art style and an unnerving sense of atmosphere.

As the original version of the game was built around using a touch screen, it seems like a natural fit for the Wii U. Simigo is also collaborating Dakko Dakko, creators of the former eShop exclusive Scram Kitty and his Buddy on Rails, to add in more gameplay elements that utilize the Wii U’s unique capabilities.

Year Walk is planned for release in North America, Europe and Australia on the 17th of September.
