The retro-inspired local multiplayer game Starwhal has been available on other consoles for some time, but it’s gearing up to make its biggest splash yet with a new trailer.
Starwhal is a fast-paced fighting game where players take control of space whales and try to stab each with their narwhal horns. There are several modes to enjoy with friends, like team battles and score attack, as well as a single-player challenge mode. Plus, the Wii U edition will include an exclusive, GamePad-centric mode called Blastopus.
In between bouts of whale fighting, players can also take the time to pick out costumes for their whales. If you’ve ever wanted to play as a narwhal in outer space dressed as a burrito, Starwhal will give you the chance to spit in the face of everyone who ever laughed at your dreams. The game is set for a Fall 2015 release.
