According to Nintendo of America on Twitter, Splatoon’s next Splatfest is a bit of a first for the popular Nintendo game. This fourth Splatfest is Transformers based.
For the first time ever, Nintendo is “sponsoring” the event by partnering up with another company. Hasbro is joining in on the fun by bringing its iconic brand to the game by letting players choose whether they will fight team Autobots or team Decepticons. After choosing your alliance, your in-game character will be able to wear a special event themed t-shirt with the corresponding logo.
The Transformers Splatfest is set to run from 9:00 p.m. PST on August 28th through 9:00 p.m. PST on August 29th. All Splatoon players who are connected to the internet are welcome to join in the fun!
