The 2001 classic Grand Theft Auto III has arrived on Nintendo Switch via Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition, an HD remaster of the original game with new visuals, lighting effects, and much more. While a lot has changed in the translation from the original PlayStation 2 game to the remaster, one aspect has carried over relatively unaltered: cheat codes!

That’s right: Grand Theft Auto III – The Definitive Edition for Switch has tons of fun cheats you can enter via inputs on your controller, which do everything from spawning tanks to refilling your health gauge, causing pedestrians to attack you, and even just changing the weather.

Do note that some cheat codes are irreversible, and are noted as such in the list below. Please make sure you either save before using the cheat, or make a separate save file to use themTrust us, you won’t want your main save file to be permanently stuck in a mode where every person in the game is shooting at you or beating you up with baseball bats. Otherwise, most cheats can just be reversed by re-entering their inputs.

Without further ado, here’s a full list of all Switch cheats for GTA III – The Definitive Edition.
