Nintendo was already plotting a massive marketing push for the Switch later this week, but it just got even heftier. Japan’s hands-on preview events, which will be a whopping seven hours long and take place inside the Tokyo Big Sight Arena, will be livestreamed.

That’s right, after the presentation on Thursday evening and the Treehouse stream on Friday, we’ll get two solid blocks of footage out of Japan on the 14th and 15th. You’ll be able to check them out on YouTube as they happen at 10:30 JST both days.

Of course it’s pretty likely these hands-on streams will be purely Japanese, and it wouldn’t be surprising if most of the information given is the same as what we get during Treehouse Live, but it should be worth giving them a look if your thirst for Switch footage is not yet quenched by this weekend.

We’ll be sure to bring any pertinent information to you as soon as it is made known, though, so stay tuned. It’s going to be a busy and exciting week for all of us!

Whether it’s an exciting new entry in a series long established or a weird experiment meant only for the dedicated, Tom is eager to report on it. Rest assured, if Nintendo ever announces Elite Beat Agents 2, he’ll be there.
