The latest in a series of fan translations of never-localized Zelda games has just been released, this time the Satellaview-exclusive BS Zelda: The Ancient Stone Tablets.
According to Zelda Universe, the game allowed the player to play as both a male and female avatar in a timed quest taking place within the Hyrule illustrated in The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.
Additionally, players were treated to new dungeons, real-time voice-overs, weather conditions and many more features.
The game was originally released in 1997 via Satellaview, a Japan-only peripheral for the Super Famicom that allowed players to download games through a satellite radio network.
