Whichever designer was behind T-Spinning Tetris 99 deserves a medal, because it’s holding out as a solid competitive game exclusive to Switch that makes the online subscription a little more tempting. If you’re a little burnt out on just playing and vying for that top spot again and again with only EXP to show for it, a new event is coming this weekend and there’s gold on the line.
From March 8th to 10th the Maximus Cup will be held, where every win a player gets will reward them a TETRIS MAXIMUS on the results screen. Gather up as many wins and Maximi as you can, because the top 999 players will receive 999 My Nintendo Gold Points.
