“Spirits” are a new game element introduced in the latest version of Smash for Nintendo Switch. They come in a variety of flavors, such as Fighter, Primary, Support, and Masters. They hail from a vast array of different franchises from across the history of gaming, and they bestow your character with boosted stats or special abilities.
