To celebrate the release of the Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna ~ The Golden Country expansion, Nintendo’s rolled out a few special things to mark the occasion. The game was spotlighted briefly during the recent Nintendo Direct and now there’s another new offering that’ll get players hyped:
To coincide with the prequel story’s release (exclusively for Expansion Pass owners at this point), a special illustration was shared. Drawn by character designer Masatsugu Saito, it features the cast of the game looking like they’re in the mood to celebrate:

That’s not the only Xenoblade goodness happening right now! My Nintendo members who have already purchased the game, and those who decide to grab it before the end of the month, will be emailed a download code for some in-game items. (This is for the full game, mind you, not Torna.) Physical cartridge owners need to register their game via the Switch itself, while those with the digital game could have their codes already. You’ll receive the following:
- 15 Legendary Core Crystals
- 3 Char-Grilled Grumbirds
- 3 Crispy Blendshakes
- 3 Clicky Clacks
If you passed up trying Xenoblade Chronicles 2 in the first place, the standalone release of Torna ~ The Golden Country will be out on September 21st.
