Just like for the last batch of Dream Friends, a series of trailers are rolling out to show the origins of the upcoming additions to Kirby Star Allies and how they’ll play. First up is Daroach, the thieving leader of the Squeaks. This magical mouse has plenty of tricks and a few friends of his own to show off:
That’s right, he’ll be able to summon each of the other Squeaks to help him out with attacks. Spinni appears for a few quick slashes, Doc will orbit around while in his UFO, and Storo will be putting his strength and size to good use. That’s three more characters you can add to this massive Kirby series reunion!
Aside from his partners in crime, Daroach has his own abilities to use too. Claw swipes, ice magic, teleporting, and bombs are all second nature to this guy and he’ll be looking dapper as can be the whole way through. As one last, great call back to his original appearance it looks like he’ll be able to bring out the treasure chest that set off Squeak Squad’s plot with a Dark Nebula themed surprise waiting inside.
Be ready for videos like this for Dark Meta Knight and Adeleine & Ribbon in the coming days, but more than anything be ready to take these Dream Friends for a spin yourself starting July 27th.
