Now that the E3 dust has settled, I’m trying to grab every detail about the just christened Fire Emblem: Three Houses. The gameplay trailer shown during the event left a good impression that I’m hoping follows through when the game releases. For players who keep up with who’s bringing the life into these games’ localizations, there’s a bit of news.
8-4, the localizers of several titles including both Fire Emblem Awakening and Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, has confirmed it will not be handling Three Houses.

There’s no confirmation of who will be handling the game’s localization at this point, but it’s likely that the Nintendo Treehouse could be behind it. The last main entry the group handled was the whole of Fire Emblem Fates, and while some fans had issues with that particular game, they’ve definitely still made a positive mark with continued work in Fire Emblem Heroes.
Fire Emblem: Three Houses has a long way to go until its 2019 release, with plenty of chances to reveal more info between now and then.
