Rev up the speculation machine once more: Nintendo has filed a new trademark for the N64 in Japan, which can only mean one thing — it’s time for a Super Nintendo 64!

No, it’s pretty clearly a potential sign that an N64 Classic in the same vein as the NES Classic and SNES Classic is coming in some form, though the trademark could just as easily be for some other purpose (such as eventually putting N64 games on the Switch à la the Online NES titles). Regardless, it’s impossible to say what the trademark means with 100% certainty, so for the moment we can only speculate.
If it does point towards an N64 Classic, what games would you like to see on it? Let us know in the comments or on Twitter.
