Recently, you may have grabbed some Crayola crayons, markers, and other mediums to decorate your Nintendo Labo creations. A merging of analog to digital, it’s been years since the inverse happened — Crayola licensed games on a Nintendo console or handheld. That changes this year thanks to Crayola and Outright Games.

“We are thrilled to partner with Crayola as they return to the video game space,” shares Terry Malham, CEO of Outright Games. “Crayola’s drive to provide kids everywhere with relevant and imaginative virtual activities has been an inspiration to us. As we create entertainment for people of all ages to enjoy, we are excited to combine our expertise to develop a brand new way of experiencing creativity with Crayola.”

Out this fall, a Crayola themed game will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. As for what type of title Outright Games is making, we’ll have to wait a few more weeks for the picture to be clearer. Yup, that’s right: this means the game will be shown at E3!

Intrigued by Crayola’s return to console gaming? Follow us during our E3 coverage next month — we’ll be breaking down what’s coming to Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS this year and beyond.
