Flipping Death left a great first impression when it was shown off during last February’s Nindies Showcase, and now it looks like it’s finally set to flip its way to Switch. Coming courtesy of Zoink Games, whose previous work includes Stick it to the Man! and the more recent Fe, the game puts you in control of the barely just deceased Penny who now has to take on her new temp job as Death itself.
It’s abstract take on death and possession has you platforming through “The Other Side” — where you’ll be able to flip back to the land of the living by possessing others and doing your best to solve problems for the dearly departed. See for yourself in its previous trailer here:
It’s all very vibrant and comical with a posthumous twist that I can definitely get into. The wait won’t be much longer, with Flipping Death launching digitally this August and physically sometime later for Switch and other platforms.
