Looks like Pearl and Marina are getting sporty in this competition to see what comes out on top between America’s pastime and the world’s game. One’s a way to spend a day kicking back and recording stats with its own designated stretch time, the other’s a nonstop affair of stage dives and low scores. Whichever side you choose, there’s bound to be passionate squid kids at your side to show you what teamwork’s all about.

Baseball’s definitely got my vote this time, though. Look at Pearl, her bat glinting brighter than her forehead and with that confident smile. I can’t say no to a few hours at the ballpark, the built-up anticipation of a pitch followed by that incomparable sound of bat-meets-ball, and the lighting-quick fielding that follows.
Marina’s definitely working the micro headband though, I just can’t get into futbol. The constant chanting crowds and back and forth play wear me out, but it definitely has its die hard fans for a reason. You can choose your side now in Splatoon 2, and be ready to battle for sport supremacy starting this Friday!
