Yo-Kai Watch has been a successful franchise in Japan. While it hasn’t reached the same levels of popularity in North America, Nintendo did bring all three versions of Yo-Kai Watch 2 on the 3DS to the United States. Fans who are wishing for more releases, it’s possible that Nintendo has heard your hopes.
Thanks to a tweet from English dub music director William K. Anderson, it looks like those wishes may come true. Known as a composer and music producer, Mr. Anderson’s next project is laid out on his desk in the image-based tweet. If you zoom in close enough, you can make out the song titles: “Don’t Stop Tomato Red” and “Space Dance.”

Both are songs from the Yo-Kai franchise and appear in the same spinoff game together, Yo-Kai Busters for the Nintendo 3DS. Originally released in 2015 in Japan, the title is getting a release in South Korea this April. After that, maybe North America and Europe are next! We don’t have official confirmation yet, but the fact that there are English versions of the songs and vocal contracts waiting to be signed means that a western release may be in the works.
To those of you who are smitten with the series, when do you want to see the game released this year?
