During last night’s NISA press event a new trailer for SNK Heroines ~Tag Team Frenzy~ was unveiled, putting the ladies of SNK’s various fighting franchises in the ring for some two-on-two King of Fighters style action.
While we see glimpses of them in their normal attire, it’s shortly after that things meet the mark I’ve come to expect from this one. Extravagant, revealing, and utterly ridiculous is the name of the game here and I couldn’t be more into it.
I’m getting vibes I haven’t felt since Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix, in that it’s going fully self referential and not taking itself too seriously, while offering a fun fighting system regardless. Time will tell if that comparison’s apt or how closely this plays to SNK’s mainline fighters, but it won’t be hard to miss spotting this one on store shelves when it releases this summer.
