After teases, hints and all kinds of hoping, it looks like we have solid confirmation that Super Meat Boy is going to die and die again on a Nintendo Switch near you. The notoriously difficult platformer’s found its way onto plenty of systems in the past, but with The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ already available and The End is Nigh coming down the road, it’s good to know that Edmund McMillen’s speedy little giblet-to-be is along for the ride.

Best of all, a tweet sent out before the visual confirmation presented a poll on if they should release a physical edition in partnership with Nicalis. After seeing how well they did with Isaac and Cave Story+’s physical packages, I can’t encourage you to hit that “yes” option any quicker.
If we make a Switch version of Super Meat Boy…should @nicalis bring it to retail?

Look forward to more details, such as an official date and pricing, in the future. In the meantime, mentally prepare yourself to try and try and try again once it releases.
