Lately there has been a lot of discussion regarding a Binding of Isaac amiibo, after game creator Edmund McMillen held a Twitter poll a few days ago asking fans if they’d like to see a figure featuring the ever-so-sad protagonist.
Now Nicalis has gotten in on the fun with what seems to be an amiibo mockup, or even a prototype.

We’ll just have to wait and see if this amounts to anything, but given the popularity of the character it’s definitely a possibility. The only other indie game to get an amiibo is Shovel Knight, though Nintendo has been opening the door to third parties with the likes of Monster Hunter Stories.
