While it’s just a little bit younger in America, the Ace Attorney series has been pointing fans in Japan towards mystery and humor for 15 years. Known for its well done localization, interconnected plots, and over the top trials, it’s no wonder that these games have the following they do. More than anything, however, it’s its cast of characters that carry these events. Be they one-note witnesses or the Ace Attorney himself, Phoenix Wright’s cast is one worth remembering and celebrating.
In honor of this milestone, Capcom Japan has a series of four illustrations done by the franchise’s key artists highlighting the four eras of Gyakuten Saiban. Showing off the original trilogy, the ‘second chapter’ started with Apollo Justice, the Miles Edgeworth-lead Investigations spinoffs, and the historical prequels of the Great Ace Attorney games; respectively, these images bring fond memories, laughs, and no objections to players’ minds and hearts.
