Emily Rogers is back at it again and, after all the rumors about a “delayed” Zelda, launch titles, and Switch prices, who can blame her?
According to Rogers, the Switch is set to receive games from the Mario, Zelda, Pokémon, Splatoon, Mario Kart and Pikmin franchises, as well as a new game from Retro Studios and a game from an entirely new IP.
@ArcadeGirl64 3D Mario + Zelda + Pokemon + Mario Kart + Splatoon + New IP + Retro Studios game + Pikmin 4…that's first 12 months of Switch

The Mario game is rumored to be 3D and could quite possibly be what we saw in the Switch reveal trailer, Zelda is almost definitely Breath of the Wild and Pikmin is rumored to be the long-awaited Pikmin 4. As for Splatoon, Mario Kart and Pokémon, no specific details have been given.
However, don’t expect these to all come out alongside the Switch. Rogers has stated that this is part of the lineup for the first 12 months of the Switch. Exact details about the full launch lineup are still unknown.
Remember, as with all rumors, make sure to take this with a grain of salt (how many of you are tired of hearing that phrase?). We can’t be sure how accurate this might be (as much as we may hope), so don’t count on this 100 percent. However, we can be confident in the fact that Rogers has been a reliable source of rumors in the past.
What do you think? Does this sound viable, and is there anything else you’d hope to see come out within the first year? Let us know in the comments below!
