Fans of 2023’s Lies of P, which recently received a Nintendo Switch 2 port, have been waiting for years for developer Neowiz to confirm how it will be continuing the series with a sequel. Lies of P did receive its own DLC in 2025 titled Overture, but otherwise the developer has been quiet about sequel talk, not even confirming if one is coming. Leave it to European trademark listings to spoil the fun, then, as a trademark for “Wonders of O” recently showed up on the EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office) website.
Filed on September 9th, 2026, a trademark for something called “Wonders of O” was made by Neowiz recently. While no information about the game is listed, the trademark does state this is “Virtual reality game software,” which is a generic description the EUIPO uses for all video games. A separate representative from Germany is also listed, which is likely Neowiz’s legal team. There’s no doubt this is legitimate, at any rate, though what does Wonders of O point to?
This will be a spoiler for anyone who hasn’t finished Lies of P yet, so be warned.
When finishing the initial game, it ends with a teaser suggesting that the next entry in this series will focus on Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz. Her iconic red slippers are shown, and she even enters Pinocchio’s home of Krat from the main game. The DLC for Lies of P did not feature any mention of this, instead continuing its own plot with a separate conclusion, so fans have been wondering for years how Dorothy will play into things. I suppose we’ll see when she experiences the “Wonders of O” in the future.
