Capcom has announced that three of its Resident Evil remakes are heading to the Nintendo Switch 2, with both digital and physical releases planned.
Revealed during the latest Nintendo Direct, the lineup includes Resident Evil 2 Deluxe Edition, Resident Evil 3, and Resident Evil 4 Gold Edition. All of the previously released DLC for RE2 and RE4 will be included.
Digital versions will launch on October 16th, 2026, while physical copies will be released on January 29th, 2027.
The Resident Evil 2 remake first launched in 2019 and follows Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield as they struggle to survive a night in the zombie-infested Raccoon City.
The Resident Evil 3 remake, which was originally released in 2020, takes place around the same time and place as its predecessor, following Jill Valentine as she is pursued by a relentless bioweapon known as the Nemesis.
Finally, Resident Evil 4’s 2023 remake sees the return of Leon as he sets out to rescue the US president’s daughter from a deranged religious cult, with its members infected by mind-controlling parasites known as Las Plagas.
