The Pokémon Company has announced an upcoming collaboration between its wellness mobile app Pokémon Sleep and designer vacation-home brand Not a Hotel.
Not a Hotel offers shared ownership of unique holiday homes designed by top architects, located in beautiful spots across Japan. Its new Poké Ball-Themed Hotel lets customers sleep inside a gigantic version of the iconic critter-catching device from the Pokémon franchise.
An official webpage and trailer for the experience has been released, showing the spherical pod in a beautiful forest location with a giant bed inside.
There are also some photographs showing close-ups of the giant Poké Ball, showing an entrance at the back with a Snorlax-themed “Welcome” sign.
The Poké Ball-Themed Hotel will appear in Hokkaido, Japan this month, with more details to be announced on September 15th.
Pokémon Sleep is a sleep-tracking game that launched on mobile devices in 2023. It rewards players who sleep longer, tracking rest time through smartphones and/or smartwatches.
