Regal has announced that an exclusive popcorn bag will be available to those who go to see Resident Evil at its theaters.
The item is designed to look like the organ transplant bag held by the film’s main character Bryan Hodukavich (played by Austin Abrams). The promotional poster (below) notes that the human heart shown in the bag is “not included” and is seemingly for display purposes only.
The movie sees Bryan, a medical courier, tasked with transporting the bag to Raccoon City General Hospital. Referring to the package in a previous trailer, Umbrella scientist Carl (played by Paul Walter Hauser) tells Bryan: “You’ve got no idea what you’ve got there in your hands.”
Regal are also offering an exclusive collectible ticket to Crown Club members who see Resident Evil at one of its IMAX screenings between September 17th-20th. Tickets can be booked now on the Regal website.
Zach Cregger’s Resident Evil movie release date
Zach Cregger’s Resident Evil reboot will be released in theaters on September 18th, 2026. It is co-written by Cregger and Shay Hatten, and stars Austin Abrams, Zach Cherry, Kali Reis, Paul Walter Hauser, and Jonno Wilson.
