Nintendo has reaffirmed that its upcoming remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is still on track for a 2026 launch.
The company briefly mentioned the Switch 2 exclusive in its latest financial report, giving it a “2026” release date and stating it is “scheduled to be released this year.”
Nintendo has not revealed any information about the remake since its reveal in June’s Nintendo Direct presentation, leading to growing concern among some fans that it may see a delay to 2027.
The Legend of Zelda community recently speculated that the Ocarina of Time remake may release on November 12th, 2026, based on recent amiibo listings. Nintendo has still yet to officially confirm a more specific release date beyond its current 2026 window, however.
The game received an E10+ age rating from the ESRB for “animated blood and fantasy violence,”, which is consistent with the 2011 3DS release, Ocarina of Time 3D.
