After mere weeks of build-up, Star Fox will be hitting Switch 2 tomorrow, June 25th, 2026. A remake of Star Fox 64, which remains one of the best rail-shooters ever, the game promises to expand the story segments of the original while also updating the visual design for modern expectations. It’s not the most in-depth remake, but that doesn’t matter. The original game is a stone-cold classic. Why not commemorate the launch of this remake with a nifty little commercial?

Posted by Nintendo SEA, the 30-second trailer is likely what you’ll see on TV if you happen to be so bored that you tune into the news or something. It doesn’t highlight the features of this remake or anything, but shows a few snippets of dialogue between the crew and little slices of gameplay. Outside the character designs, I do think Star Fox looks quite good and like a proper “next-gen” game, so it’s fun to see a bit more of how the levels have been tweaked before release.

If this commercial doesn’t do it for you, it does end with a reminder that a demo is available on the eShop. A separate demo is also playable at Target locations across the US, though with only a day left until release, you might be better served just waiting for the final thing.
