Nintendo has announced that it is going to expand the Nintendo Museum with a new restaurant later this year.

The “Super Family Restaurant” will open in Autumn 2026, with staff “currently preparing a variety of menu items, including food and desserts,” according to an official post on X.

An image of the restaurant during pre-opening preparations was also shared. It shows various Nintendo displays, including a big statue of Breath of the Wild’s Link, a Master Sword in its pedestal, and a large bust of Samus Aran’s Power Suit from the Metroid series.

“More details, including the opening date, will be announced at a later date,” the Museum said.

The Nintendo Museum opened in October 2024, and is located in the city of Uji, in Japan’s Kyoto Prefecture. Celebrating Nintendo’s 136-year history, it features exhibits, galleries, a shop, a café, and more.
