All Nippon Airways (ANA) has revealed the designs for two of its three upcoming Pokémon planes, which will commemorate the series’ 30th anniversary and the airline company’s 40th anniversary.

The Pokémon Jet Red will feature all of the Fire-type starter Pokémon from each mainline game (from Charmander to Pombon), while Jet Green celebrates all the Grass-type starters from the series (from Bulbasaur up to Browt).

The Pokémon Company announced its collaboration with ANA in February, with the companies planning to launch three jets in 2026. Jet Blue’s design, which will presumably feature Water-type starters, has yet to be revealed.

Jets Red and Blue will fly domestic routes across Japan, with the former starting late July 2026 and Blue’s launch date to be announced “soon.” Jet Green will fly international routes later in the year.

Aircraft details are as follows:

  • Pokémon Jet Red: Boeing 787-8 (Aircraft Number: JA819A)
  • Pokémon Jet Green: Boeing 787-9 (Aircraft Number: JA923A)
  • Pokémon Jet Blue: Boeing 737-800 (Aircraft Number to be announced)

ANA launched the world’s first Pokémon jet in 1998, and has rolled out many Pokémon planes since. A video published by the airline, promoting the new jets, highlights the Pokémon-themed liveries launched throughout its history.

The company also revealed designs for limited-editions cups, cocktail napkins, and headrest covers that will be featured on the Jet Red and Green planes.

ANA said in a press release that details on commemorative products for passengers, as well as original Pokémon merchandise, will be “announced soon.”
