This morning, THQ Nordic announced that a trio of titles would be coming to Nintendo’s latest console in the form of new ports. These include Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, Destroy All Humans!, and Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed. Not to leave Nintendo Switch 1 owners in the cold, a new version of SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide will also be hitting the original console later this year.

Scheduled throughout the summer, Destroy All Humans! Will be the first port to release on June 23rd, 2026. In a press release from publisher THQ Nordic, it’s stated that the game will now render at 1440p resolution, include better shader details and denser world details, and include the “Skin Pack” DLC. Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed will follow on September 15th, 2026, and will be the debut of that particular game on Nintendo platforms. While it includes everything from the previous releases, it will not feature local campaign co-op like on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Lastly for Switch 2 owners, Epic Mickey: Rebrushed will release on October 6th, 2026, and feature similar upgrades to Destroy All Humans! While no specific resolution is mentioned, the game will sport higher quality textures, an improved framerate, and even mouse controls for the paintbrush. The “Costume Pack” DLC will be included, as well.

Over on Switch 1, SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide will be released almost an exact year after its Switch 2 version. In an instance of back porting, Switch 1 owners will now have the chance to play the latest SpongeBob game without upgrading to Switch 2 hardware. I’m not sure why THQ Nordic is doing this, but I suppose there are too many original Switch consoles out there to ignore an entire demographic. It could also be because the RAM crisis is still ongoing and Switch 2s might be jumping in price soon.
