Business is booming for Capcom, according to the company’s latest financial results for the nine months ended December 31st, 2025.
GamesIndustry.biz reported the following statistics:
- Net sales: ¥115.3 billion ($748.8 million), up 29.8% year-on-year
- Operating income: ¥54.3 billion ($352.6 million), up 75.1% year-on-year
- Net income: ¥38.8 billion ($251.9 million), up 68.6% year-on-year
Net sales for Capcom’s Digital Contents business also landed at ¥73.4 billion ($477.3 million), up 25.4% year-on-year.
Capcom pointed to its Resident Evil and Street Fighter franchises as the main contributors to the huge increase.
Resident Evil Requiem’s announcement “helped drive sales growth for titles in the same series, led by Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil Village.” Mobile spinoff Resident Evil Survival Unit also saw over three million downloads following its November launch.

As for Capcom’s other big moneymaker, Street Fighter 6 surpassed six million sales thanks to the release of the Nintendo Switch 2 version.
Other major contributors were the Monster Hunter and Devil May Cry series, as well as Capcom’s “Amusement Equipments” segment (which includes things like pachislot machines).
The company said it expects to achieve its projected earnings forecast for the current fiscal year, which ends on March 31st, 2026.
