- Captivating Prelude
Princess Peach: Showtime! was the first game in 19 years to feature Peach as the protagonist, with the last game being Super Princess Peach for the Nintendo DS. Showtime received mixed reviews; while the soundtrack was praised, many felt it was too easy and repetitive. This is a sentiment I shared while playing the demo, which caused me to ultimately not buy the full game.
However, Showtime did sell over a million copies, so there’s always potential for a new Peach game in the future.
