Late last night, Good Smile Company announced three new presale figures to be made available for purchase by attendees of this year’s Anime Expo in Los Angeles, California.
First up is Figma Yuuki, the “Absolute Sword” from the hit series Sword Art Online II. Optional parts include Yuuki’s one-handed sword, a scroll of the OSS Skill she gave to Asuna, articulated wings and three facial expressions. More interestingly is the inclusion of additional hand holding parts to be used together with the previously released Figma Asuna.
Also sneaking his way into this year’s expo is Nendoroid Solid Snake: Stealth Camouflage Version of Metal Gear Solid fame. Made with translucent green parts to represent stealth mode being active, Snake is sure to blend in with the rest of your collection seamlessly. Just like the standard version he comes with special articulation that allows you to display him in a prone position, as well as all previously included weapons and items, not to mention a low-polygon face swap for those eager to relive the glory days of his earlier missions.
Finally, Nendoroid Mega Man: Metal Blade Version slices his way onto the scene. Based on the original figure’s design released back in January, this version sees the legendary blue bomber sporting a brown and yellow palette swap gained through absorbing Metal Man’s power. He comes fully equipped with both small and large sizes of the ‘Metal Blade’ special weapon, an E-Tank and three facial expressions: standard, damaged and clenched teeth.
Currently, all three figures are being made available exclusively to attendees of this year’s Anime Expo with eventual plans to be sold to the general public through Good Smile’s online shop. For those of you fortunate enough to attend, quantities are sure to be extremely limited, so plan to arrive early if you want a fair shot at adding these iconic characters to your growing collections.
Anime Expo 2016 opened its doors earlier this morning and runs through July 4th. If you happen to find yourself in the greater Los Angeles area, tickets for Anime Expo 2016 are still readily available for purchase.
