A brand-new character flies into Super Monkey Ball: Banana Rumble! Red from the Angry Birds franchise has been added as paid DLC, and while playing as Red, various items around the course will change to match. Bananas will turn into feathers, bunches of bananas are now tufts of feathers, and golden bananas are golden feathers.
Red is the first Angry Birds character to be added to a Sega game as DLC, which has been a long time coming as Sega acquired Rovio back in August 2023. Red will be appearing in his classic art style, it is currently unknown if more characters from the franchise will be joining him.
As a reminder, a demo is available on the eShop, allowing you to see the first 3 worlds of Adventure Mode, with an option to transfer save data to the full game. Red is available now in Banana Rumble!
