Black Friday is almost upon us! Nintendo has announced its Black Friday sales and there are a couple of good offers this year. Let’s dive into what’s available!
Starting November 24th, physical retailers will have deals on select Nintendo Switch games, including a rare sale on Tears of the Kingdom!
- The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will be available for $20 off, or $49.99.
- Super Mario Maker 2, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Pikmin 4, Nintendo Switch Sports, & Kirby and the Forgotten Land will all be available for $20 off, or $39.99.
- Super Mario Odyssey is getting a 50% discount, available for $29.99!
- Pikmin 1 + 2 will also be available for $29.99, a great deal for 2 games in 1!
If you prefer digital, the eShop and the My Nintendo store will have deals starting November 19th! It’s currently unknown what these deals will be, but we should find out soon!
Nintendo holiday deals on accessories and bundles
The Neon Red & Neon Blue Joy-Cons & the Switch Pro Controller will be discounted by $20! It’s a great time to get the Pro Controller, I’ve had mine since launch and it hasn’t given me issues once. I hope it’s compatible with the Switch successor, I use mine constantly. If you’re looking to protect your Switch, the Tears of the Kingdom edition of the carrying case and screen protector will be discounted by $10.
If you somehow haven’t gotten Mario Kart 8 Deluxe OR a Switch, two bundles are available. The regular model bundle is available for $299.99 and the OLED model bundle is available for $349.99. Both bundles include a digital copy of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and a 12 month membership for Nintendo Switch Online.
For those who prefer the Switch Lite, a Hyrule Edition is available for $209.99! You will also receive a free 12 month membership for Nintendo Switch Online.
2024 Nintendo in-store holiday events
Finally, there will be physical events and giveaways in-store!
- Target will host demos of Super Mario Party Jamboree on November 16th and 17th.
- Best Buy is holding Best Buy Family Fun Day on December 7th, with demos for Mario & Luigi: Brothership, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, Mario Party Jamboree, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Just Dance 2025.
- GameStop will host demos of Mario & Luigi: Brothership, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, Super Mario Party Jamboree, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Just Dance 2025 on December 14th.
Not all locations will host these events, but it’s worth it to see if there’s any happening close to you! It’s shaping up to be a good Black Friday for Nintendo deals, so mark your calendar if you’re interested in getting any new accessories or games!
