The 16th Splatoon 3 Splatfest theme has been revealed and it’s surprisingly dystopian. The citizens of Splatsville, and by extension Nintendo, want to know “what would you do at the world’s end?”
The options given are keeping on doing the same ol’ stuff, fulfilling the remaining items on your bucket list, or stepping up to try to stop the apocalypse.
The theme for the 16th Splatfest is in! It asks: "What would you do at the world's end?" Same Ol', Bucket List, or Save the Day?
It's an ominous theme, but fortunately hypothetical, so you can participate worry-free.

Given Splatoon already takes place on a post-apocalyptic Earth it is a bit dark to see its citizens so eagerly embracing the concept for themselves.
The Splatfest will take place between 5/17 at 5 p.m. until 5/19 5 p.m. PT so you’ve got plenty of time to prepare a bug-out bag.
