The release of Kirby and the Forgotten Land exactly two years ago today shook up the landscape of the Kirby series. Not only did it bring new lore, mechanics, and characters into the fold, but it was the first game in the series to entirely consist of 3D gameplay. Needless to say that with everything that was brought to the table, many Kirby fans regard the game as one of the best entries in the entire franchise. If you agree with this sentiment, you’ll be pleased to know that the entire soundtrack of the game in CD form is now available for pre-order!
There’s actually two options available here: the Complete Soundtrack on a total of four CDs, or the Sound Selection (a more curated list) of 33 songs on a single CD. If you’re looking to purchase the complete soundtrack, it will cost ¥14,080, which comes out to around $93 before shipping. This also includes a 40-page booklet, a photo frame, and five photo cards to use with said frame. The curated selection alternatively only costs ¥2,420, or approximately $16. This set includes a bonus six-page booklet alongside the CD. The full list of the songs included is available on the product listing, albeit in Japanese.

When does the Kirby and the Forgotten Land Soundtrack release?
Both of these products are set for release on Friday, September 13th, 2024. That’s quite a ways out, but if you’re thinking about picking up one of these, it might be best not to wait that long. Stock may be somewhat limited and pre-orders could very well sell out before long, so if you’re dead-set on these you won’t want to chance it. Even if you aren’t planning on purchasing anything, at the very least this fun merchandise release can serve to remind you of a wonderful game and the fond memories that go along with it.
