A couple of weeks ago we reported on two new trailers from Square Enix spotlighting the two protagonists of Star Ocean: The Second Story R. Now we’ve gotten even more focusing on the eclectic party that’ll be joining them!
First up we have Celine, a treasure hunter who is well-versed in Symbology, the Star Ocean series’ version of magic.

Next is perhaps the most fantastical of characters in Ashton, a swordsman possessed by a two-headed dragon.

The polar opposite of that fantasy is the very sci-fi Precis F. Neuman, an inventor with an interest in machines who even has a robot buddy called Robby.

Finally, we have Bowman Jean. He may dispense medicines as a pharmacist but he also dispenses beat-downs as a trained martial artist.

We’ll be able to meet these characters and more when Star Ocean: The Second Story R launches for the Nintendo Switch on November 2nd, 2023.
